What’s Happening at Mercato?
Mercato Cafe now open..... Come and enjoy our new addition to the showroom, Jess is preparing some fantastic food utilizing our ingredients. Have an Allpress coffee or enjoy a Harneys tea.
Cafe hours Mon - Friday 8am - 4pm, Saturday 9.30am - 2pm.
At Mercato we supply chefs and home gourmets with essential food ingredients and kitchen equipment sourced from around the world including Italy, Spain, France, Persia and New Zealand. We have more than 1500 products available including Rustichella pasta, Ferron risotto rice, La Chinata smoked paprika, Valrhona chocolate, Foie Gras, truffles, olives and estate pressed extra virgin oils.
We invite you to shop online or visit us at our new store at 100 Fitzgerald Avenue in Christchurch open Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9.30am-3pm. There is plenty of parking just outside the door. Look for the orange Mercato squares!
